Terms

ESTIMATED COST: Includes labor fees (design, art direction, production) for collateral listed in Services Provided. Project estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of estimate. Project may be re-estimated if, upon receipt of all project elements, Elizabeth Hubbard Designs, LLC determines the scope of the project has been altered dramatically from the originally agreed upon concept. Printing, stock photography, brand photography, website hosting, domains and font fees will be estimated separately and payment arrangements made between client and printer/stock site unless otherwise agreed upon.

CHANGES/ADDITIONS: Client is allowed two (2) rounds of changes per piece (text edits, spelling corrections, minor design tweaks), unless otherwise specified in the proposal. Additional changes beyond the included two (2) will be charged at hourly rate. Changes resulting in a redesign of collateral or creating another concept, will be treated as a new project, will be re-estimated and added to the total of the original estimate. General Managers/appointed persons will approve before anything is printed or posted.

RUSH FEES: Client agrees to the deadline for each collateral piece listed on the estimate and should allow four (4) days turnaround time for any changes or adjustments. In the event the deadline is moved up, or there is a need to rush changes, the client will be charged 20% of total per collateral piece needing a rush.

REPRODUCTION OF WORK: The client assumes full reproduction rights upon payment for completed project. The Designer retains personal rights to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of design competitions, future publications on design, educational purposes and the marketing of Elizabeth Hubbard Designs, LLC. Where applicable the Client will be given any necessary credit for usage of the project elements.

REJECTION/CANCELLATION OF PROJECT: The client shall not unreasonably withhold acceptance of, or payment for, the project. If, prior to completion of the project, the client observes any nonconformance with the design plan, the designer must be promptly notified, allowing for necessary corrections. Rejection of the completed project or cancellation during its execution will result in forfeiture of any deposit and possible billing for additional labor or expenses to date.

COMPLETION/DELIVERY OF PROJECT: Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon approval with the client. Any delay in the completion of the project due to actions or negligence of client, unusual transportation delays, unforeseen illness, or external forces beyond the control of the designer, shall entitle the designer to extend the completion/delivery date, upon notifying the client, by the time equivalent to the period of such delay.
