In addition to being a nonprofit organization, the Arkansas Press Association is an association of journalists advocating for the newspaper industry in Arkansas. Publications, seminars and conferences related to newspapers are also provided by the organization. They serve local and state legislative advocacy, training programs, and educational programs.
